SAN LUIS OBISPO — Property managers in San Luis Obispo are facing challenging times.
They say the local rental market is flooded with available houses and apartments.
The signs are everywhere.
“It’s brutal,” said Tim Kershner, owner of Stenner Glen and president of the Off-Campus Housing Association. “It’s as bad as it’s been since 1991.”
Single family homes, condos and apartment complexes are sitting empty in San Luis Obispo.
