Home Sold Stats for June

Home sales in San Luis Obispo County totaled 219 for June. 37% of these were distressed (22% REO, 15% Short Sale). In June 2009, we also had 219 home sales. 32% of these were distressed (22% REO, 10% Short Sale).  Deja vu…

For last month’s home sales, the median home price for non-distressed homes was $537,949, for REOs it was $371,000, and for Short Sales it was $394,500.

REOs continued to sell pretty quick with 43 average Days on Market (DOM) compared to 87 days for non-distressed homes. The long process of banks approving Short Sales pushed the Average DOM to 190 days.
