– Foreclosures are still a big portion of the sales in SLO County. In August, 50% of condo sales were foreclosures (REO and Short Sale) and 42% of single family homes sold were foreclosures.
– Median Home Prices increased in all categories (REO, Short Sale, and non-distressed) when compared to last month. July had a dip in the median home price so if you look at the graph and take away the peaks and valleys, home prices have leveled off over the past few months.
– Sales activity us up for single family homes in SLO County (Jan-Aug) when compared to the first eight months in other years.
