Caring for Wild Critters

Pacific Wildlife Care is a wonderful local rescue fascility in Morro Bay.  These good hearted folks are a talented army of volunteers who care for our ‘wild’ critters that run into trouble virtually anywhere on the Central Coast.  They perform a wide array of essentail services including rescue, rehab, fostering and providing refuge to animals that would not otherwise receive care.  Their assistance runs the gamut to animals including seabirds, songbirds, raptors, reptiles and all mammals with the exception of sea mammals. The tasks can be hand feed babies, wash the towels or even the office work that is never ending.   Not all tasks are glamorous……but all are worthwhile.  They can always use an extra pair of hands and cash contributions would make it easier to do this sensitive and significant work.  Check them out, voluteer or contribute…..this is a special organization!
