The buying season is winding down as we get closer to the holiday season. This year, we also have the election. Even with interest rates still low, the $800K+ market has seems to have slowed down over the past several weeks. We’ll see what happens after the election is over.

On a side non-real estate comment. I had the opportunity to chaperone a LAN party last night at the Arroyo Grande High School. This was a fundraiser for the Eagle Robotics group. If you don’t know what a LAN party is, it’s when a bunch of people (students in this case) bring their computers and they all hook them together on a Local Area Network (LAN) and play multiplayer games all night. I had the 1 AM to 4 AM shift but I’m a night own so I’m usually up this late most nights anyways.

Much different than when I was into video games when I went to Cal Poly in the late 70’s/early 80’s. The few arcades in SLO County didn’t stay open all night! (There was an Asteroid’s game in the 24 hour laundromat in University Plaza on Foothill Rd though).
