If you like Madonna Inn’s pink champagne cake you may want to go to Nite Creamery in SLO on Saturday. Starting at 1 pm, they will off an ice cream that is supposed to taste like the cake.

They only have enough for 100 scoops so go early.

Busy night at the Market last night! A bit of wind noise on the microphone (thanks to the SLO fall breeze).

A bit windy on the beach today but the kite surfer didn’t mind. He’s about 10 feet up in the air but is kinda lost with in all those birds.

Winds picked up this weekend and will continue for a few days. Today felt like Fall weather but it looks like we’ll heat up again in a few days.

This video is from yesterday (Saturday) when I took my dog to the Templeton Splash Days at the community pool. The volunteers were great and it made for a very fun time for all!

I had my protective case over my 360 camera (for the water) which is why the audio isn’t clear.

One of my daughters visited San Francisco a few weeks ago and picked me one of my favorite snacks for my birthday. They are flat fortune cookies from the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory in Chinatown. I’ve been visiting this place for years but I’ll admit my first couple visits were tough because those were the days where you used a printed city map to get around. The factory is in an alley off one of the main streets but with Google Maps, it will take you right there.

The photo below is of my last 2 cookies. I can’t put the bag down! They were sooooo good. The dog is hoping one of these is for him with his tongue out (sorry Tahoe, not this time).
