Elfin Forest – Boardwalk Trail

(submitted by one our our North Coast agents)

Los Osos residents enjoy this leisurely simple walk through the pigmy oaks. The wooden boardwalk, built in 1999, is stroller and wheel chair accessible- very family friendly. The path circles through the forest and along the bay- a one mile loop with two look- out points and several benches along the trail. The sounds of the birds, the smell of the trees and the beautiful vista and bay views provide for a nice serene stroll. I particularly like this trail when I am not wearing my “serious” walking shoes!

Location: 16th Street and Santa Ysabel
